Keith Snyder Joins Our Team of Expert Consultants

The Robert F. Kennedy National Resource Center for Juvenile Justice is pleased to welcome Mr. Keith Snyder to our family of consultant partners. Keith began his 29-year career with the Juvenile Court Judges’ Commission (JCJC) in 1987 as a Juvenile Court Consultant. Keith was subsequently promoted to the positions of Director of Policy and Program Development, Deputy Director, and eventually Executive Director. As Executive Director for the JCJC, Mr. Snyder was responsible for all agency operations and received the Juvenile Court Judges’ Commission’s Outstanding Leadership Award upon his retirement in 2016. Keith also served as the Coordinator of Pennsylvania’s Juvenile Justice System Enhancement Strategy (JJSES) from 2010–2014. The effort produced an array of strategies and reforms that provide examples of replicable policy and practice change that improve the lives of our youth and families involved in the juvenile justice system. Keith’s career began as a juvenile probation officer in 1980 in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. His rich practitioner and leadership skills will benefit all of the state and local jurisdictions with whom the RFK National Resource Center partners. We welcome Mr. Keith Snyder to our consultant staff!
