Save the Dates!
April 5-6, 2016 & April 7-8, 2016

The Robert F. Kennedy National Resource Center for Juvenile Justice, led by Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps, is pleased to announce that it will host its inaugural symposiums in the heart of historic Boston, MA in April 2016. Please mark your calendars and stay tuned to learn more about our Dual Status Youth and Probation System Reform Symposiums!

Dual Status Youth Reform Symposium
April 5-6, 2016
Join us to participate in this national gathering of multi-disciplinary, youth-serving professionals to learn, network, and become part of the nationwide movement to improve outcomes for dual status youth. This is a unique opportunity to witness and share the outstanding practice and policy progress made over the past fifteen years to address challenges and improve outcomes for children and families who have been touched by both the child welfare and juvenile justice systems.

Probation System Reform Symposium
April 7-8, 2016
This symposium is designed for juvenile probation department directors, managers, supervisors, and emerging leaders who want to increase their understanding of “what works” to reduce recidivism and improve outcomes for youth. Participants will also learn the core principles of conducting a comprehensive review of their juvenile probation department. The event’s experienced presenters and facilitators will guide juvenile probation professionals through cutting edge research on ways to improve youth outcomes and implement effective practices to reform departmental policies and practices.

These unique events will offer dynamic and interactive networking opportunities to learn from innovative, on-the-ground leaders representing these two distinct practice areas who have spearheaded reform efforts within their local communities and are eager to support their “colleagues” throughout the country.
