Since 2008, the MacArthur Foundation has recognized state and local leaders for outstanding work in practice and policy contributing to exemplary juvenile justice systems. This year, the MacArthur Foundation named four Champions for Change — three of whom serve on the RFK National Resource Center’s Practice Networks — who have positively affected the lives of court-involved youth, their families, and communities and advanced juvenile justice reform.
Champions for Change are distinguished not only by their longtime commitment to creating change on behalf of youth, but also because of their innovative and creative use of resources provided by Models for Change. Champions have adapted resources to local conditions and extended capabilities to achieve deeper insights, more evidence-based practices and policies better suited to the needs of justice involved youth.
The RFK National Resource Center congratulates the 2014 Champions for Change!
