New Op-Ed, Juvenile Justice and Education Partnerships: Change Must Begin Now

In a new op-ed featured on the Juvenile Justice Information Exchange (JJIE) “Juvenile Justice and Education Partnerships: Change Must Begin Now“, Dr. John “Mick” Moore highlights the successful outcomes achieved through an education and juvenile justice partnership in King County (Washington) and the need for education systems to be an “equal partner” in juvenile justice reform efforts throughout the nation.

A consultant to the RFK National Resource  Center and Dual Status Youth Practice Network, Dr. Moore stresses, to further enhance reform and achieve successful outcomes for youth, silos between education and youth-serving systems must be broken down and developing educational partnerships must become a priority.
