A newly released policy brief, We Can Do Better: Sharing Responsibility to Better Meet the Needs of Dual-Status Youth (WisKids Count Policy Brief, Spring 2014), highlights the link between childhood maltreatment and risk of delinquency and provides an introduction to dual status youth and the system reforms needed to better serve this vulnerable population. Resources and examples provided throughout the brief can be used to further explore the issues raised, begin conversations, and spur interest in systems coordination. WisKids Count Policy Brief is a publication of the Wisconsin Council on Children and Families.
